Documentation

TicketCrew is built so you should not need this. It is here for when you want to go deeper than the defaults.

Getting started

Configure the bot on this website, then handle ticket conversations in Discord. Start by choosing your categories, staff roles and panel.

  1. 1.Add TicketCrew to your server from the install page.
  2. 2.Open the dashboard and follow the setup wizard.
  3. 3.Choose the categories you actually take requests for.
  4. 4.Pick the role that handles them.
  5. 5.Choose a Discord channel, then publish the panel.
  6. 6.Members create tickets and staff respond directly in Discord.

Knowledge base

Answers that get offered before a ticket is opened, with the deflection rate measured rather than assumed.

  1. 1.Write the question the way a member would ask it.
  2. 2.List the wrong phrasings as keywords.
  3. 3.Use the live matcher to check it would actually be found.
  4. 4.Tune the confidence threshold in Settings.

Permissions

TicketCrew asks for eight Discord permissions and explains each one. If something is missing, Settings tells you which and why.

  1. 1.Server access comes from Discord: Manage Server grants full dashboard access.
  2. 2.Staff access comes from the roles you configure under Staff.
  3. 3.Every action is re-checked on the server against live Discord state.
